Working in a variety of media including oil, acrylic and watercolor, Bonnie creates art of a startling intensity and drama. Bonnie is an artist who's painting embodies the atmospheric quality of Impressionism, but with a respect for traditional drawing skills with modern abstract overtones. Not a slavish copier of the world around her, instead the paintings are an emotional response to place, light and color. It is precisely this fusion of color, spontaneity and representation that has produced such a rich and expressive body of work.
"I was always meant to be an artist and started to paint as a child. I feel privileged that my paintings have always struck a cord with others and feel that my job is to make magic."
Either vibrant with internal energy or suffused with soft light, Bonnie's paintings are often described as healing - food for the soul!
Although often at work developing a collection for exhibition, Bonnie does take commissions and is experienced at working with interior designers/decorators.
